A Month in Photos - October

Hello, hello, dear friends!

In this post I’m going to share with you photos of my favourite season - fall.

Beautiful October displayed fall at its finest, and I couldn’t get enough of it! Here in Canada, we only have fall for three weeks (up to a month if we are lucky), and then by November, we normally get our first snow.

This past month I also got to go and visit my old university for an outfit photoshoot, and of course I couldn't pass on the opportunity to snap some photos of the beautiful golden trees next to the old buildings. Just between us, I kinda miss university. It's been over two years now since I graduated, and I think I just really miss the freedom to build my own schedule, work really hard towards something, and then see the fruit of my hard labour. I miss always learning new things and having a good balance of social life as well. I didn't mean for this post to become so nostalgic, so let's move to my next point.

Another really exciting thing that happened at the beginning of October was the Nuit Blanche Arts Festival that took place in four different locations in Winnipeg. This year I decided to go to the Winnipeg Art Gallery location. I had such a good time checking the place out and spending time with my friend. It was my first time visiting the Winnipeg Art Gallery, I had such a pleasant surprise, and the entrance to the place was FREE. I think the highlight of my night was checking out the rooftop. It was covered with patio lights and lots of greenery. And of course, how can I not mention the view from the top? Luckily I was able to capture an amazing photo of an intersection between two main streets in my city (first photo below).

I saved the best for last for you guys. Can you guess what it is?

Sunset pictures.

Everyday we get the opportunity to witness a new masterpiece that the world creates for us. Every sunset is different from the one from the day before. I feel very lucky for each day that I get to see another new sunset. There is just something about them that always make me feel better no matter how crappy my day was. It's one of those things that always make me smile and feel peaceful. Maybe some of you can relate to that feeling :)

OK, let's dive in straight to the photos:
