Lorac Unzipped Palette Review & Swatches
This palette quickly became one of my favourite ever since I bought it. If you ask yourself how I got my hands on this palette, since you can't get it in Canada, ask no more. I was able to find a retailer on the American Amazon website that sells this palette and ships to Canada. I got it here and it cost me $56.55 USD (including shipping and import charges).
Each colour is absolutely gorgeous, and I tend to use it dry and wet, even though I believe these eyeshadows are only meant for dry application.
It's usually really hard for me to buy palettes because I only buy a palette if I absolutely like EVERY SINGLE colour in it. I feel that it is a waste of money buying a palette to only using some of the colours.
I initially wanted to purchase the Lorac Pro palette, but after swatching it in a store on one of my trips to the States, I realized that I only like a few colours in it, and decided not to buy it. As you can see from the photos below, this palette is well loved. I've also gotten compliments on my makeup while wearing these golden/rosie shades.
Top row L-R: Undercover, Unbelievable, Unattainable, Unconditional, Unbridle
Bottom row L-R: Undiscovered, Unreal, Uncensored, Unspoken, Untamed
These shadows are highly pigmented, easily blendable, and last on me all day long. I do use an eyeshadow primer though whenever I wear makeup because I have really oily eyelids.
My go-to look with this palette is blending unconditional and unspoken in my crease. Mixing and applying unbelievable and unattainable together all over the lid. Then lightly blending undiscovered just in the centre of my lid for a pop of colour. I also like to use undercover as my inner corner highlight. And lastly, I like to blend out my lower lash line with the colour uncensored.
These images don't do it justice as the eyeshadows look more sparkly and metallic in person. But I hope you got some idea and inspiration.
